Abstract

The modern workplace is constantly evolving, and effective leadership is essential to maintaining a motivated and productive workforce. Servant leadership, characterized by its focus on serving the needs of employees and fostering their personal and professional growth, is gaining prominence as a valuable approach to employee management. This study illustrates the role of Greenleaf's serving leadership theory in improving employee management in work culture. This leadership theory emphasizes the importance of service to subordinates as the foundation of leadership, ethical values, employee development, and the creation of a positive work culture. This research presents an in-depth look at how the application of this theory can strengthen employee management and create a healthy work environment. The purpose of this study is that by applying Greenleaf's serving leadership principles, organizations can advance productivity, employee well-being, and build an inclusive and value-oriented work culture. While diverse organizational challenges and contexts must be considered, leadership theory serves Greenleaf offering a powerful framework for continuous improvement of employee management and work culture. Using literature research methods, these observations can provide deeper insights into the implementation of this theory in a variety of organizational settings.


 


Tempat kerja modern terus berkembang, dan kepemimpinan yang efektif sangat penting untuk mempertahankan tenaga kerja yang termotivasi dan produktif. Kepemimpinan yang melayani, yang ditandai dengan fokusnya pada melayani kebutuhan karyawan dan mendorong pertumbuhan pribadi dan profesional mereka, semakin terkenal sebagai pendekatan yang berharga untuk manajemen karyawan. Penelitian ini menggambarkan peran teori kepemimpinan melayani Greenleaf dalam meningkatkan manajemen karyawan dalam budaya kerja. Teori kepemimpinan ini menekankan pentingnya pelayanan kepada bawahan sebagai landasan kepemimpinan, nilai-nilai etis, pengembangan karyawan, dan penciptaan budaya kerja yang positif. Penelitian ini menyajikan pandangan mendalam tentang bagaimana penerapan teori ini dapat memperkukuh manajemen karyawan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bahwa dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan melayani Greenleaf, organisasi dapat memajukan produktivitas, kesejahteraan karyawan, serta membangun budaya kerja yang inklusif dan berorientasi pada nilai-nilai. Walaupun tantangan dan konteks organisasi yang beragam harus diperhitungkan, teori kepemimpinan melayani Greenleaf menawarkan kerangka kerja yang kuat untuk perbaikan manajemen karyawan dan budaya kerja yang berkelanjutan. Dengan memakai metode penelitian literatur, pengamatan ini dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang implementasi teori ini dalam berbagai setting organisasi.
