Abstract
The doctrine of God's providence is a doctrine that continues to be relevant throughout human life, including for believers. Believers are not only allowed by God to enjoy all the good things but also various bad events. In the midst of various rejections of the doctrine of God's providence and various bad events, doubts about the doctrine of God's providence become an unavoidable reality. Through an expository study, this paper will elaborate on God's providence through the teaching in the Heidelberg Catechism on question 27. This paper shows that the teaching of Christianity through the Heidelberg Catechism provides in-depth teaching on the doctrine of God's providence. The work of divine providence consists of at least three kinds, namely preservation, government, and cooperation.
Doktrin pemeliharaan Allah menjadi doktrin yang terus relevan dalam sepanjang kehidupan manusia, termasuk orang-orang percaya. Orang percaya bukan hanya diizinkan Allah menikmati segala yang baik, namun juga berbagai peristiwa yang buruk. Di tengah berbagai penolakan terhadap doktrin pemeliharan Allah dan berbagai peristiwa yang buruk, keraguan terhadap doktrin pemeliharaan Allah menjadi realita yang tidak terhindarkan. Melalui studi eksposisi, tulisan ini akan menguraikan mengenai pemeliharaan Allah melalui pengajaran dalam Katekismus Heidelberg pada pertanyaan 27. Tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran Agama Kristen melalui Katekismus Heidelberg memberikan pengajaran yang mendalam mengenai doktrin pemeliharaan Allah. Pekerjaan providensi Ilahi setidaknya terdiri dari tiga macam, yakni preservation, government, dan cooperation.
